Now, let's talk about the dishes here. As the owner, I have personally tasted and approved every item on our menu. The creamy clam chowder is a crowd favorite, with just the right amount of saltiness and consistency. The calamari appetizers, both raw and battered versions, are incredibly tasty and often leave our guests wanting more. The strike linguini pasta with huge-sized prawns is a dish that I highly recommend. The al dente noodles bathed in a flavorful garlic, lemon olive oil sauce create a harmonious combination of flavors.

Visited The Tides for a party of 8, Bachelorette Dinner. You will find that the restaurant is attached to what looks like a grocery market and a few mini souvenirs shops. It's nestled right on the water and provided great views of the sunset on a clear day. I wouldn't say you need to wear a suite and tie to enter; casual attire is just fine while dining here. Decor is in the older side, so don't judge a book by its cover.
Antonio, our server was sweet. He was able to handle out party of 8 without any issues. His busser always had our waters filled above the half way point, and he cleared our dirty dishes quickly.
The food was not bad. Most of us ordered the creamy clam chowder to start and then we shared the calamari appetizers; one raw and the other battered version. Both versions were very tasty. The clam chowder was delish, not too salty and just the right consistency. Main dishes were good. I opted for the strike linguini pasta with cake with huge sized prawns, perfectly al dente noodles slightly bathed in a yummy garlic, lemon olive oil sauce.
All in all we had a delightful dinner for our bride to be. I would recommend this restaurant if you are staying in or driving thru Bodega Bay.
